About
Wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend. Teacher, writer, dancer, singer, music lover. Oh yeah, and I have colon cancer.
I decided to call it The Little C, because of the TV show The Big C (which I haven’t seen yet, by the way). I wanted to diminish cancer by taking it down a peg. It’s still pretty scary though.

Geez, Mary, I had no idea. I hurt for you. I’m thinking of you and sending energy to support you and also to obliterate those nasty cancer cells!! You are a strong and powerful woman, and these next six months will test your patience and tolerance, both of which you have in abundance.
Much love,
Val

Thanks Val, I am still getting used to it. Seems unreal somehow. I was really feeling pretty healthy, apart from the usual aches and pains of aging. Life is so crazy weird sometimes. You just never know what is going to happen. I appreciate all your positive energy. Would love to hear how things are going in your life.

Hi Mary
I was so sorry to hear of your cancer. You are in my prayers through this
journey. It has been many years since we have spoken, your Moms Christmas
cards keep me up to date. I went through this journey with my husband when
we were just 25, so I understand what you are going through.
Write when you can.
